You can wear it and carry on with your everyday activities, while it continuously monitors your heart. It helps to evaluate heart activity and stroke risk. It is ideal even for younger patients. Instructions to follow while wearing the Holter Rhythm Patch
Dos
- In case you are taking a shower, make sure that it is a short one and that the shower head is behind you.
- After the shower, pat dry the area around the biosensor.
- In case of sweating, mop up the sweat from the skin surrounding the biosensor to prevent it from seeping beneath the biosensor.
- If you are sweating, ensure that you are in a well-ventilated place with sufficient air circulation.
- case of any damage to the biosensor, please contact Customer Care or MIOT (Seychelles) Medical immediately.
- Note down all the symptoms in the Holter Diary and report the symptoms in the app.
Don’ts
- Don’t let the biosensor get wet.
- Don’t apply soap or lotion near the biosensor.
- Avoid intense physical activities like exercise.
- Don’t sleep in a prone position or towards your left side.
- Avoid wearing tight clothes, chains or backpacks.
- Avoid taking scans that expose you to radiation.
- Don’t uninstall the app until the report is generated.
- Ensure that the biosensor is out of reach of children and pets.
